Our TMT practice is a broad-based practice advising on all aspects of technology contracts, outsourcing, information management, e-business, healthcare, telecommunications, and media. We have considerable know-how in the area of telecommunications regulation, interconnection and licensing.  

Our experience include advising CoreNett Limited in respect of distribution agreements entered into with a three mobile telecommunications companies in Ghana in connection with the distribution of e-pins using CoreNett's electronic infrastructure; Multimedia Group Limited (owners of Joy FM, Adom FM and MultiTV) on various business agreements with third parties; Per Aarsleff in connection with matters relating to the grant and renewal of frequency licences from National Communications Authority; and Diagnostic Centre Limited on all legal issues connected with setting up of a medical diagnostics centre, including various statutory registrations and regulatory requirements.

We also advised Samsung Corporation on the the implementation of a social service hub in Ghana; Zain Ghana Limited (now Airtel) on the applicability of VAT on interconnection charges; and Esoko on its agriculture commodity index. We are currently advising an international telecommunications infrastructure company in respect of its proposed acquisition, construction and operation of telecommunication towers and related passive telecommunications infrastructure.
