Nana Yaa has an LLB from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and a Bachelor of Law (B.L) degree from the Ghana School of Law.

Prior to Oxford & Beaumont, Nana Yaa worked with Databank Financial Services Ltd, Kulendi, Amponsah and Fabille at Law, and The Law Trust where she acquired varied work experience.

She was the organising secretary of the Law Students Union at KNUST. Nana Yaa is a product of Wesley Girls’ High School.
