
Michael's areas of expertise are finance, banking, trade and investment, environment, and corporate & commercial law.
Michael has extensive experience in corporate finance transactions. He advised a group of lenders led by the African Development Bank (AfDB) in a $240 million transaction for the development of an international submarine cable across West Africa to Europe. His experience also includes advising Societe Generale on a $194 million credit facility to the Government of Ghana to construct a power plant.
Michael previously worked with Bentsi-Enchill, Letsa & Ankomah. He also worked as in-house counsel for the Public Utilities Regulatory Commission and had a stint with Chaikin & Sherman in Washington, DC.
Michael has a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Ghana and a Master of Laws degree from Queen's University, Canada.
