We advise on all aspects of buying, selling, consolidation, re-organisation and amalgamation of companies and businesses. We carry out legal due diligence and advise on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, strategic alliances, joint ventures and equity investments.

We acted as in-country counsel on the second largest largest privatisation in Ghana's history, the $900 million acquisition of 70% of the Government of Ghana shares in Ghana Telecommunications Company Limited by Vodafone International B.V. We also advised Per Aarsleff J.V. in connection with the assignment of its quary licence to A. Kanin Limited. We advised a multinational telecommunications infrastructure company on the disposal of its Ghanaian subsidiary; the acquisition by a company registered under the laws of Panama of a Ghanaian transactions processing company; the proposed acquisition of shares in a Ghanaian insurance company by a multilateral agency; and the acquisition of the life business of Metropolitan Insurance Company Limited by Metropolitan Holdings of South Africa, resulting in the formation of Metropolitan Life Ghana Limited.

We are currently advising an international telecommunications infrastructure company on its bid to acquire the tower business of a major telecommunications company in Ghana.
