Kwesi is a United States educated and trained attorney with over 14 years’ experience as a practicing lawyer. He has been a named partner at a Texas law firm and also a solo practitioner. He has advised corporate clients and has successfully litigated varied civil causes both as defence and plaintiff’s counsel.

He graduated in 1997 from the University of Texas School of Law at Austin, Texas and was licensed in Texas the same year. Before attending law school, Kwesi worked in the insurance industry in claims investigation and litigation for several years. In addition to his University of Texas Doctor of Jurisprudence (JD), he earned a bachelor's degree, cum laude, from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in finance from Vanderbilt University’s Owen School of Management in Nashville, Tennessee in 2007.

Kwesi is also qualified to practice as a solicitor and barrister in Ghana and is a member of the Ghana Bar Association.
