
Cornelis was admitted to the Ghana Bar in October 2010. He is currently an Associate with the Corporate and Commercial team. Before entering the competitive world of corporate and commercial practice, as a student, Cornelis worked as an intern on three separate occasions at the Legal Resources Centre, a human rights and advocacy firm in Accra. At the LRC he was primarily involved in research, Bill appraisals and stakeholder workshops among others.
Cornelis has a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and a Bachelor of Laws Degree, both from the University of Ghana. During his post-first degree LLB programme Cornelis was an active participant in faculty student’s affairs sitting on organisational committees and eventually running affairs as the Organising Secretary of the Faculty of Law.
