
Amina is head of our Corporate & Commercial Group and Partner-In-Charge of the Tax Services Group. She is highly recommended for intellectual property, IT and telecommunications work in Ghana by the Legal 500 EMEA 2009 Edition. She is an expert in intellectual property law and was recently involved in the review of all intellectual property laws in Ghana with the aim of developing an anti-counterfeiting legislation to fight counterfeiting and piracy. She has broad experience in corporate and commercial transactions spanning mergers and acquisitions, telecommunications, employment, and real estate.
She advised a telecommunications infrastructure provider on its bid to acquire the tower business of a major Ghanaian telecommunications giant. She has in addition advised The Coca Cola Bottling Company of Ghana Limited on the day-to-day management of their operations.
Prior to joining Oxford & Beaumont, Amina worked as a Senior Associate at Bentsi-Enchill, Letsa & Ankomah.
Amina is a product of St. Francis Girls Secondary School, the University of Ghana and the Ghana School of Law.
